Notice is hereby given that a

Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the

Chillicothe Independent School District will be held on

February 14, 2006, beginning at 7:30 P.M., in the Board Conference Room/Central

Administration Office

1510 S. 6^th Street, Chillicothe, Texas

 

The Subjects to be discussed or considered, or upon which any formal action may be taken, are as follows:  (Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on the meeting notice.)

 

1. Establish quorum present and call to order.

 

2. Public Hearing to Discuss the Beginning of School prior to August 21, 2006.

 

3. Open Forum

 

4. Recognize Chillicothe Students for Winning Grand and Reserve Champion at the local and County Stock Show.

 

5. Minutes of Previous Meeting.

 

6. Consideration and Approval of Bills.

 

7. Consider donating or selling the Flexible Activity Bus to a Chillicothe Ex-Student.

 

8. Consider and Adopt Update 77.

 

9. Consider and Adopt the 2006-2007 School Calendar.

 

10. Call Trustee Election for May 13, 2006

 

11. Executive Session… Personnel matters that may include but not limited to:  resignations, employment of personnel, positions, assignments, duties, compensations, and benefits.

 

12. Consider contract extension for Elementary Principal Howard Tooley.

 

13. Superintendent’s Report.

 

14. Adjourn.

 

If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Tex. Gov’t. Code, Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E.
