Notice is hereby given that a

Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the

Chillicothe Independent School District will be held on

July 10, 2007, beginning at 6:00 P.M., in the Board Conference Room/Central

Administration Office

1610 S. 6th Street, Chillicothe, Texas

 

The Subjects to be discussed or considered, or upon which any formal action may be taken, are as follows:  (Items do not have to be taken in the same order as shown on the meeting notice.)

 

  1. Establish Quorum Present and Call to Order.

 

  1. Minutes of Previous Meeting.

 

  1. Open Forum.

 

  1. Consideration and Approval of Bills and Roofing Amendment.

 

  1. Consider and Adopt Update 80. (Second Reading)

 

  1. Consideration and Discuss Fuel Bidding Process for 2007-2008 Year.

 

  1. Closed Session:   Personnel:

 

a.   Discussion of staffing needs for 2007-08

b    Discussion of possible re-assignments

c    Discussion of resignations;

1.      )  Kim Thompson – High School Math

2.      )  Lana White – Jr. High Math and Science

3.      ) John Robertson – High School Principal

 

d.   Discussion of High School Principal Applicants

e.   Discussion of the High School Secretary Position

f.    Discussion of compensation and benefits for certain extra-curricular   assignments.

g.   No decisions are made in closed session.  All actions will be taken when the board re-convenes in open session.

 

  1. Take any necessary action(s) following discussion of personnel in closed session.

If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Act, Tex.
