New Cheerleaders Elected
Friday, April17, 2009 was an exciting and tense day for a group of spirited girls. Cheerleading, mascot, and twirler tryouts were held for both Junior High and High School. Girls' tried out in front of the student body, and then performed their cheers and routine for three judges, starting at 4:00 p.m. When finally results were tallied, the following students made their various teams.
Junior cheerleaders for 2009-2010 are eighth graders Micaela Peters, Courtney Pritchett, Alicia Ramirez and Caitlynn Wilson. Incoming seventh graders are Loren Bell and Jaymie Gable. Mascot will be 7th grader, Taylor Martinez.
High School cheerleaders for next year will be incoming Seniors Ana Lora and Kelsey Rodriguez. Junior squad members will be Elora Granados and Rubi Guerra. Sophomore member will be Shelby Brown and Freshman member will be Brinne Harris.
