Bond Election Information (click for info.)

Superintendent Message:
On May 9, 2015 voters will have an opportunity to approve a $4 Million bond package securing funds to improve our current facilities.
The CISD improvement project will use this money for capital outlay improvement projects and will not result in any demolition of current buildings or construction of new ones.
Planned improvements will include security and safety improvement, upgrades to infrastructure (Electrical, Lighting and Plumbing), and wireless wiring infrastructure and equipment to both the High School and Elementary campuses. HVAC systems will be replaced at the Elementary School and improvements made to the systems at the High School campus. Roof repairs are also included.
These funds will allow us to upgrade the football field lighting system and construction of a new track on that facility, and to purchase some new buses to update our current fleet.
If you have any questions about the project or the election, please feel free to contact me at 940-852-5391 or at my email address at bairdj@cisd-tx.net
Thanks,
Jerry Baird, Interim Superintendent

TESTING IS HERE
The STAAR and EOC State Testing Assessments will be coming up soon. Here are some tips for a successful day.
1. Get plenty of sleep. Try to get to bed early before testing days.
2. Eat a good breakfast
3. Have a positive attitude
4. Read/listen to directions carefully. If you are not sure of something raise your hand and ask for clarification/explanation if possible. We want you to be successful.
5. Take your time. Depending on the test, you may have 4 or 5 hours so don't rush and review your answers if you can.
