Chillicothe Students Compete at State Congress

Two students,  Jake and Clay, senior and sophomore, competed this week at the State Congress competition in Austin. During this competition students debate Congress is a mock legislative assembly competition.  Both students made it into the Super Final (8 competitors). Chillicothe had a fourth place finish in the finals. Congratulations to these students for being such great representatives of our school.

Chillicothe Cheerleaders advance to Spirit Finals

The Chillicothe High School cheerleaders advanced to the finals of the first ever State Spirit UIL Competition.  The girls received 3rd place overall in the Prelims.  They competed against 12 1A schools.  They placed 5th in Fight Song, 4th place in Band Dance and 3rd place in Crowd leading.  They placed 9th in the Game Day Division Final. We are so proud of our girls!. Seniors- Vallie and Mason, Sophs.-Taylor, Lila, Emma and Miranda, and Freshman- Brianna, Kelly, Maddox and Maddi!
